Sterling, Va., July 29, 2018鈥�One hundred days before the 2018 election, the American Medical Student Association (AMSA) is launching the Med Out the Vote campaign at .
蜜芽apphas a long history of empowering future physicians to be leaders and advocates in the fight for quality, affordable healthcare for all. It is now clearer more than ever that healthcare is heavily influenced by policies and politics. Our ability to care for patients and to promote health is being determined not just in the hospital or in the home, but also on the Hill. In order to protect and improve healthcare, we must make our voices heard through the power of our vote.
Therefore, 蜜芽appcalls on all healthcare providers and providers-in-training, both 蜜芽appmembers and our allies, to take the pledge to Med Out the Vote. Make a pledge to yourself to vote in this year鈥檚 election. Make a pledge to help others vote by organizing voter registration drives or asking your institution to facilitate voting. Make a pledge to get out the vote by volunteering with a local get-out-the-vote effort.
